Pedal and Paddle was a logo design project created for a staple bike and surf rental shop located in Hanalei, Kauai. The client wanted a brand identity that reflected both the unique character of the business and the beauty of its surroundings.

The primary creative direction centered on incorporating the iconic mountain backdrop that overlooks Hanalei Bay, an unmistakable landmark for locals and visitors alike. The goal was to capture that sense of place while also giving the design a distinctly retro, laid-back vibe that resonated with the shop’s casual beach-town atmosphere.
